Modules

The modules L-Easy ® , easily opened, allowing a quick mounting/dismounting to facilitate the tasks of monitoring and maintenance. In addition, the housing made of high density polypropylene, allows for easy manipulation due to the low weight of the system.

The configuration of work will depend on several factors including the type of fluid, viscosity, SS, energy consumption, and so on. In general, there may be two configurations:

a) Open Loop

 • Advantages: installation easier since there is a single bomb that gives the necessary pressure and flow to the circuit. In addition, the concentration factor is very low, so you can somewhat improve the flow.

 • Disadvantages: energy consumption per cubic meter filtering is somewhat higher. It is also largest the net recirculation to which it submits to the solution to filter.

It is advisable for small flows.

b) Closed Loop

 • Advantages: energy consumption per cubic meter filtering is lower. The net recirculation of the solution is to filter out less well.

 • Disadvantage: the investment is somewhat higher due to the presence of 2 pumps, a power to pressurize the circuit and another to give the necessary cross flow velocity.

It is advisable for streaming media-high.

Table 1 contains the flow of recirculation needed to give the appropriate speed in each case, depending on the type of module that is selected.
