Ultrafiltration and reuse of marc baths

Agralco S. Coop. was founded in 1962 by several wineries in Navarre and La Rioja, to group the activity of small distilleries in the region. At present it works for more than 260 wineries of La Rioja, Alava, Navarra and Castilla y León managing the byproducts of 500,000 Tm. of grapes of which are obtained 3,750,000 Hl. of wine.

Likuid has cooperated with Agralco in the implementation of a UF solution for the filtration and reuse of marc baths. The permeate ensures a good quality for reusing purposes, recovering valuable byproducts and minimizing the environmental impact since a big portion of the water is reused again in the system.
